Celebrating Our Hotel Heroes: A Heartfelt Thank You

As we wrap up another successful year of welcoming student and youth groups to Greater Williamsburg, we want to shine a spotlight on the unsung heroes who helped make it all happen—our incredible hotel partners.

Each group that comes through our destination leaves with lifelong memories, new friendships, and unforgettable experiences. But behind the scenes, a tremendous amount of work goes into making sure those stays are seamless, safe, and special. And that work starts—and ends—with the hospitality teams that call Williamsburg home.

To all the hotel front desk teams who warmly welcomed each bus as it rolled in... 
To the breakfast staff who started each day with a smile... 

And most especially—to the housekeeping teams, who are truly the backbone of every guest experience—we see you, we appreciate you, and we couldn’t do it without you. 

Visit Williamsburg will be hosting a social media giveaway for those who participate in our online quilt project, and we'd love for your business to be part of it! We're seeking prizes such as a two-night stay certificate, attraction tickets, gift cards to local restaurants or shops, and more. If you'd like to participate, please email Daniela Owen by Friday, July 18. 

Visit Williamsburg is excited to launch our upcoming Pancake Pass marketing initiative for September, and we’re looking for local restaurants that serve delicious pancakes and other breakfast favorites to be part of it! We’re inviting restaurants and cafes to showcase their best morning dishes and any special offers, discounts, or featured menu items. In addition, we’re including affordable hotel packages and exclusive deals to help visitors enjoy the full Williamsburg experience.  Please submit your pancake /breakfast deals, hotel packages, discounts, and special deals to us.

Information on Williamsburg 250 events, happenings, and hotel packages will be used in media pitches, social media content, and in The WilliamsBLOG. To participate, please send a description of your offerings, along with images via email to Emma Schmitz.
